[Game Review] iFiction

iFiction

iFiction is a text-based adventure. It is played by typing the command like "enter", "take item", etc. The problem with this game is it lacks of instructions. I even need to ask my friend how to play this game. Because the only instruction is the move command and it's not even working at the starting point. Who can figure it out that the ONLY command we can use at starting point is "enter" ?
Enough of the rant, here's the Four Elements of iFiction:
  1. Mechanics - The goal of this game is to look for treasure and exit the game using the bomb.
  2. Story - The storyline is too simple and the wording is far from novel-standard.
  3. Aesthetics - The game looks...doesn't looks like game, sounds...nothing because there are no BGM or SFX, and feels boring.
  4. Technology - It use some kind of modified command prompt as the interface. For current time it is really bad, but maybe during that time (19th century), it is a revolution.
